I’m the designer and creative mind behind Design by January, a boutique brand and web studio based in Richmond, Virginia, working with clients all over the U.S.

I help bold, ambitious brands show up with clarity, confidence, and personality. My design style is playful yet intentional, rooted in strategy, elevated by storytelling, and brought to life through expressive

typography, thoughtful details, and bold color. I believe branding should feel aligned, not random. Strategic, not trendy. Fun, but still functional.

By day, I work as a full-time art director in advertising, using creativity to help brands communicate clearly, shift perception, and inspire action. That same strategic thinking carries into every project I take on because good design does not just look beautiful, it moves people.

I started Design by January to work with founders who are done playing small. The ones with big ideas, bold taste, and something real to say. My role is to turn your vision into a brand that feels aligned, elevated, and impossible to ignore.
